Kids: Nursery
Each Sunday in the Nursery our goal is to provide our youngest children a chance to interact with the truths of the gospel in a way that is developmentally appropriate, while maintaining a safe and secure environment. We are thrilled to provide foundational knowledge of the gospel, and to partner with parents and families in discipleship throughout the rest of the week.
We are excited that you are interested in what God is doing, and we hope this information is helpful. Please contact us with any questions!
First time, here’s what to expect…
We begin Nursery check-in 15 minutes before our four service times (9am, 11am and 5pm) each Sunday. Once you enter the building there will be members of our Kids Team to help you check in. Our team will gather information about your child, such as allergies, birthdate, your contact information, as well as any helpful tips about your child’s routine. You will receive a security sticker, which all parents are required to show in order to check-out their child. If your child needs you at any point during the service, we have a text messaging system in place to contact you.
Safety
Your child’s safety is our first priority. All of our volunteers are background checked and interviewed before they begin serving with our children. We have safety officers posted during each service, and anyone who enters a classroom is required to have a Frontline security badge. In the event of a building emergency, you will be notified as to when and where it is safe to retrieve your children.
Curriculum
We want our kids to know that Jesus is the center of everything! Our curriculum is written by our Frontline Nursery Team and comes from the Jesus Storybook Bible, which points our kids to the centrality of Jesus in Scripture. Our hope is to reach every child with the gospel, which means that we strive to teach in a way that engages and activates different learning styles through crafts, songs, and sensory activities.
Baby Dedication
We offer baby dedications three times a year, which includes an introductory parenting class the week prior to the dedication. While it does not take the place of salvation, dedicating your child before the congregation signifies your intentions to raise your children in the gospel. It is also a way for the church to come alongside parents and caretakers in an effort to pray for, bolster, and resource you. How can I serve?
Each week, anywhere from 70 to 100 volunteers invest in the children of Frontline by teaching, leading, and caring for them. We would love for you to join us! Click here to get started!
